Our peacocks drop gorgeous feathers following their mating seasons. They are beautiful birds who love to show off in front of any audience. |
Numerous guinea fowl, geese, ducks, chickens lay eggs and eat bugs, as well as fertilize the fields. None of our birds or animals are slaughtered for meat. Almost all are free to roam. We hate to keep them caged or penned. |
Budgies and cockatiels reside inside our house. They hatch out young at various times of the year. |
This past year our emu flock grew to 29. The big birds give us chicks as well as egg shells (used for painting and jewelry) and feathers. All of our eggs (including emu) are hatched in incubators from December to August. |
