We joined several bed and breakfast associations (see list) in 2007, after opening our home to visitors on a
daily or weekly basis so that they can experience the day-to-day operations of an exotic farm. Farm tours
were also offered.
During Thanksgiving week of 2008, we suffered a huge loss. Most of our emu flock was wiped out by a
mosquito-borne virus, Eastern Equine Encephalitis. We contacted
The Brockville Recorder and Times, who
wrote a front-page story on the tragedy, so that others would be informed of the threat of the virus in our
area.
New babies are ongoing. Our latest (as of June 2009) are kid goats, lambs, llama/ alpaca crias, chicks,
ducklings, goslings!
Noah's Farm is owned and operated by Ian and Diana de Zeeuw
Owners not responsible for accidents on the farm
It's not difficult to find Noah's Farm. We are tucked away between County Road 46 and County Road 29,
north of Brockville, Ontario, at the end of Pettem Road. We are only 3.7 kms north of Lyn (off County Road
46). See Directions.
People interested in purchasing birds, animals, plants, vegetables should call ahead. At certain times of the
day we are not always around the house, greenhouse or barn, so it is a good idea to make arrangements.
One of us is usually available on Saturdays and Sundays.
